“Nature” by Emily Dickenson is about nature and what it has to offer. This poem is has imagery. This poem has imagery because I can imagine every line written. "Nature is Harmony" and "Nature ia heaven" are both examples of metophers. This poem has repition. "Nature"is one repeted word. "Nay"is also another example of repition. This poem has not rhyme so it is a free verse poem. I think is poem is very powerful in meaning because it reminds the human race to keep our plant pretty and clean.
Nature
"Nature" is what we see— The Hill—the Afternoon— Squirrel—Eclipse—the Bumble bee— Nay—Nature is Heaven— Nature is what we hear— The Bobolink—the Sea— Thunder—the Cricket— Nay—Nature is Harmony— Nature is what we know— Yet have no art to say— So impotent Our Wisdom is To her Simplicity.
Nature
"Nature" is what we see—
The Hill—the Afternoon—
Squirrel—Eclipse—the Bumble bee—
Nay—Nature is Heaven—
Nature is what we hear—
The Bobolink—the Sea—
Thunder—the Cricket—
Nay—Nature is Harmony—
Nature is what we know—
Yet have no art to say—
So impotent Our Wisdom is
To her Simplicity.
