"Maple Tree" by Martin Lochner is about the season fall. This poem has a lot of imagy. I can imagine a guy walking out in his front yard and seeing an old maple tree loosing its leaves because of the weather changing. "Old Maple tree in my yard undresses himself" is personifcation meaning that the Maple tree is loosing its leaves. "A fresh nippy pinch of coming cold" is another use of personifacation meaning that the cold weather is comimg near. "Maple Tree" is a free verse poem. This poem reminds me the fall changing into winter.
